Joe Miller, SFTS Lodge |
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the legendary American sage Joe Miller gave numerous talks on Sunday evenings at the San Francisco Lodge of the Theosophical Society. These "raps" as Joe called them were recorded and transcribed by Richard Power on tape cassette.
Much of the content was then included in Power's "Great Song: Life and Teachings of Joe Miller."
Inspired by Joe and Guin's friendship with Sufi teacher Irina Tweedie, and named after her masterpiece, "Chasm of Fire" is one of those original recordings ...
