Week 2: Joe Miller -- Joe Miller on Tibetan Yoga and Secret Doctrine
Joe Miller -- A Series of Talks on Tibetan Yoga & Secret Doctrine
In the late 1970s, Joe Miller delivered a series of ten talks on Tibetan Yoga & Secret Doctrine, a seminal work by his dear friend and colleague, Dr. W.Y. Evans-Wentz.
For ten weeks, Joe held forth for one hour (sharp) every Tuesday, at the San Francisco Lodge of the Theosophical Society, sitting cross-legged on a white goat-skin rug, beneath a painting of the Buddha to a group of twenty to thirty young people.
These precious tapes preserve Joe's unique perspectives on the "nitty gritty" of the spiritual path. Much of this content was transcribed and included in Great Song: Life and Teachings of Joe Miller.
[These digital files were derived from the original cassette tapes made on an inexpensive hand-held tape recorder over thirty years ago.]
